Masala Football Club has been working hard to develop and perpetuate an Indigenous Program. The aim of the program is to provide opportunities for the boys that they wouldn’t normally have access to. Also to provide the platform and the support for the boys to achieve success and inspiring them to greatness, whether that be through education or employment. We are assisting in creating new leaders and positive role models for their communities back home. The program was born in 2014 with two young Aboriginal boys from Cairns who came from the Pyramid Power Football Club and has continued to grow every year since. Masala Football Club has made connections who are essential in the running of the program, some of those are:

Alongside the educational and housing, Masala Football Club strives to provide participants within the program chances within several AFL Victoria programs. In the past, the boys have had great success within the Laguntas Indigenous Football side and travelled interstate to participate in events. As a club, we are building our Indigenous Program to enable it to accomodate more people, with more opportunities and more care.
